After more than 20 years, HARVEST LABEL's "Super Hercules," designed by Japan's leading charismatic bag designer, Koichi Yamaguchi, has been upgraded with functionality suited to the new normal era. The iconic front design remains the same, but it has been reborn as the "FLYER'S 70XX" with the addition of original fabric that meets the Flyers' bluesign standards and a number of new specifications that are essential for modern life.
Original parts and materials
◆ Triple stitching Triple stitching, which is sewn with three threads, is a technique mainly used in workwear (jeans, etc.). It is highly durable and extends the life of the bag.
◆YKK No. 10 metal zipper
All zippers used in the zippered mesh compartment and right side zipper pocket are metal zippers manufactured exclusively for this product at YKK's main production factory in Kurobe, Toyama Prefecture.
The zipper is finished with a unique "matte dull plating" which is an elaborate process in which the surface is chemically reacted with chemicals after plating the body of the bag to create a sophisticated black coating. With use, the base body color gradually becomes more apparent, and the more you use it, the more the base color appears, allowing you to enjoy the changes over time. We use this zipper for all parts, knowing that you will be able to use your purchased bag for many years to come.
◆Original metal parts
" FLYER'S backpacks are made without any plastic products and are made entirely of original metal parts, preventing damage over time and ensuring long-term durability.
◆CORDURA® nylon twill bonded
The "FLYER'S" series is inspired by the bonded fabric used in the MA-1 flight jacket worn by U.S. Air Force pilots since the 1950s, and uses Cordura®️ nylon twill that meets the new environmentally friendly Bluesign®️ standard . The MA-1, which has been loved for a long time, has many die-hard fans and continues to be popular through the ages, being worn as a fashion item nowadays.
